There is no game giveaway later this morning (Saturday), so I thought I'd post a couple of decent games to keep the gamers here occupied. There is however a decent game for Sunday. :)
Blockade Blitz v1.0.1.3: (4.6Mb)
BlockAde Blitz - is an Arkanoid based around the cartoon Ben 10. It’s actually quite good. The game is available for Windows, Macintosh OS X and The Linux Operating System(s), though I’ve only linked to Windows downloads. You’ll also find the game on several browser game sites, one of which I’ve linked to below. You can check the game out first too see if you like the game; though it’s much better played in full screen.
The Game is only a short arkanoid, but fun to play. The kids will probably enjoy it due to the Ben 10 theme, There are several power ups, most of which change Ben into one of the characters he can change to, each one having a particular power. There are enemies within the brick network, who will fire upon Ben, so you need to keep an eye not only on the ball, (or balls if you get a multi ball, but also the enemy fire. Although the game uses graphics from the Ben 10 series, it is not supported by the Cartoon Network.
The game was created in 2009 and is maintained By Michael Hardy; that said, I checked the web address that was given via the installation wizard and it no longer exists. I’ve posted two download links. I’d use the Softonic link in preference to the Brothersoft simply because you have to make sure you uncheck check boxes otherwise your home page will be change and toolbars will be installed.
