Okay, today’s freeware game isn’t really a game, it’s more like a ‘tool to create’, but for all of you who loved to play with Lego when you were a kid, or for those of you with children this is a perfect download to while away a few hours. It's also a great software tool for those of you who never had enough Lego to make the models you really wanted to make, or that you imagined. – I would certainly have loved this when I was a child. I used to imagine building houses and other models that you could live or play in or mini cities that I could destroy with my model planes and ‘00’ scale toy soldiers, but I only ever had enough Lego to build small models so my war games were never as spectacular as I would have liked if I’d had unlimited Lego bricks (lol). Lego hadn’t though about making the amazing array of bricks that are now available. Back then it was very basic stuff, but I still derived great pleasure out of my Lego set. When my first born son was old enough (way back in the early 80’s) I showered him with Lego models and when my second son was born 20 years later I spent even more on Lego models, the most expensive one being an aircraft carrier that cost me over £80 (it was a fantastic model). Anyway, here’s your chance to make all those models you weren’t able to either because you didn’t have the stock or you’d lost the bits. No more losing them, they are all kept safely tucked away within your computers amazing hardware.

Paulga originally posted version 2 of this software in the ‘software you need to know about’ section HERE
over three years ago. When I stumbled across this software I though I recognised it so did a search of the giveaway website and found Paul’s thread (whatever happened to Paulga, I seem to remember one of our old regulars started a similar site to the giveaway project that gave away free software, but don’t know what happened to the site. Someone told me many moons ago that Paul had become an admin on the site. I’ve not seen him since)
