Downloaded the 6/01 giveaway and followed the instructions but keep getting "failed to connect-try again later" when installing/activating.
Tried all the FAQ suggestions. Running Vista, deactivated ALL security and used IE as my default browser "on-line" with ALL protection off.
Still get the same message repeatedly no matter what.
This has happened consistently for the past two weeks. Previously, everything fine

Hi Spooky. Here's a few more suggestions:
1) ... Reboot your Modem (leave turned off for at least 30 seconds to ensure any residual charge in any capacitors has discharged)
2) . . Reboot your router (as above leave for 30 seconds)
3) ... clear out the cookies related to the giveaway project from your internet cache
4) ... Try later in the day
The fact that it's only recently started would lead me to think No 3 is the best choice, (sometimes cookies which enable a web page to laod faster become corrupted, which can lead to that particular message); that said I'd do 1 & 2 first as they are easier. I've had that message many times and one of the fpour fixes above have always worked for me. :)
