Here’s a great retro shooter that I’m sure Doom lovers will enjoy playing. I’ve actually got several games lined up over the coming days/weeks that include Dark Disciples (RPG) , Lemm (Lemmings Clone),Babylon 5: I’ve found Her (Space Simulation), Project Starfighter (Shmup), Aces High Over Verlor Island (plane shooter), A tale of Betrayal (Point and Click adventure), Bowling Evolution (bowling game), Clone (puzzle game) and a good platformer called Legend of Edgar as well as a few more. Here’s the first of the games
Harmony:
Harmony was inspired by some of the great 90’s shooters like Duke Nukem and Doom. Youll find the graphics similar though made using the zdoom game engine which was made to mimic and enhance Doom 2. You can find more games using this software in the free games synopsis. Anyway, using this engine has given us a retro feel to the game. The graphics look better than the originals, but only because they don’t look blocky like those early games when screen resolutions like we have now were unheard of.
The game features 11 maps, high resolution sprites and an MP3 soundtrack by Kyū.
