I think it is useful for studying the brain. Since the dawn of time it's THE problem number 1! When you open a human skull, everything falls apart, everything collapses. We see only a sort of "jelly". That's why the "Old" physicians (and philosophers of antiquity) thought that the most important organ was the heart.How could they believe that the brain was so important? They did a sort of "mush" cerebral...Mush Brain! ;)
But nothing can replace 1 or 2 years of dissecting human bodies.
Young students do not have much dissection sessions.
But this learning is essential!
Except for the brain ... It was difficult to understand everything,all "imagine" in 3 dimensions. Medical Imaging (during the 80s) has revolutionized everything...
