PreVa (533.53Mb)
Here’s a game that was commercial, but the developer has now made freeware. It’s a little dated, but still has some decent game play to offer anyone who likes Mech type games. You can play in the first or third person, which makes for an interesting experience. Sometimes it’s useful to be able to switch from one to the other; especially when you need to see the environment around you.
PreVa is an anime-style mecha game in which you play as the commander of alpha squad in a war waged over several years by the Independent Allied Alliance and the United Earth Government, your job, as a UEF Commander, is to infiltrate the IAA’s bases and return the Versatile Armors they stole from The UEF.
It is the story of a world at war. Two sides locked in a conflict over the future of mankind. On one side you have the United Earth Government, a new force to unite the world under one government. The other a small military group known as the Independent Allied Alliance. In the game the player, plays as a United Earth Forces Commander trying to recover three stolen prototype Versatile Armors from the Independent Allied Alliance. Versatile Armours or V.A.s are large mechanical robots that are piloted by humans from a cockpit in the V.A.s’ chest.
