   I installed today's giveaway, XUS PC Lock Ultimate 2.0, and when I tried to run it Avast Antivirus said that it was known malicious software and then precede to remove it. Anyone able to confirm that this is malicious or not? Avast has gotten much more picky lately so this might just be an over-reaction but it also might not be. Thoughts???

   Edit -- I installed it again and then scanned it with both Avast and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware both of which came up empty for anything suspicious. As soon as I ran the program however Avast once again threw up all sorts of warnings and errors....

   My Comodo threw up warnings. I wouldn't worry about it, because this software obviously need to lock on to keyboard and networking (that's a feature) to do its job.

   Hi Jaddis,

   I used to use Avast and, because of its aggressiveness towards apps, I uninstalled it. I'm now using Avira - but this also has its problems. I think I'll switch to AVG.

   If you keep trying different anti-virus programs, this may help.

   I suspected that Avast was just throwing a cat-fit but I figured I would see if anyone else was having any problems.
