   AFAIK most members get assigned a dynamic IP address for each internet session from their ISP(unless they asked for a static one).
   So...
   (but the trouble is it will eventually get reassigned to someone else.LOL)

   Maybe they should've chosen for an activation request by email or using hardware ID.

   -Edit- Not waiting for the registration page to load completely and refreshing the page might you give a "You already have a code!" too.

   The program checks for validation whenever you load it.
   Updating hangs so far, due to server load...
   This also causes the license to (temporarily) change to 'Registered -O days remaining' or even 'Unregistered'.

   Somehow Revo forgot to delete remnants of the cleaner in Application Data (Appdata)folder.
   New install updated itself to version 8.1.0.1074 to 1079 (Moo Helper Service updated etc.).

    I have to agree with graylox "Mostly when developers don't rely on the proven GOTD activation procedure, they are failing terribly."

    It sure looks like the developers stepped in a big steaming pile of MooSoft...

    I'm sure they had their reasons for the self-inflicted wounds, and I'm sure those reasons make perfect sense in a static world, but the 21st century is a dynamic world. You have to be nimble to survive and the nimble know how to avoid MooSoft.

    I didn't even bother. Our IP changes all the time...especially Now since I am flipping back and forth between HDD'S/OS working on a graphic DVD project.

    I couldn't even get to the web site. Kept getting a authentication message asking for a name and password. I've Emailed the developer, but by the time I get up in the morning the giveaway wil have finished.

    Pity as this was one giveaway that looked promising.

    I don't think the IP address is used as a persistent "code" to activate the software. It is just used to make sure that users only get one code - which they then enter into The Cleaner - to unlock the 12 month license.

    If your IP changes in a months time - that doesn't matter - because the code you entered and the code that MooSoft have on record hasn't changed.

    Users running around telling people that when their IP changes - the program will expire isn't true. (at least for me it didn't).

    It is just used to make sure that users only get one code ?? I got 3 ok on one PC but it not like update & scan get Exception Message : Invalid page type. Possible data corruption. Expecting type 6, but found 0 - Native error: 20153.

    & not up date did a look up all I find is make a biger Page file no help also memory usage to system cache was on Programs. no help Ram 2 GB Page 3 GB CPU 2.4
