   IE9 has what could essentially be considered “FlashBlock” built right in—just head to Safety-> ActiveX Filtering, and turn it on from there…

   From now on, whenever you go to a site that tries to use an ActiveX control like Flash, you’ll have to click the little icon in the address bar to enable it.

   The new combined search/address bar is smart same as Google Chrome,looks like Chrome Firefox ?

   Microsoft have once again shot themselves in both feet. IE9 is NOT compatible with Windows XP, Heaven knows why!

   Considering that VERY many XP users with older machines are unlikely to upgrade to Vista or Win 7, perhaps Microsoft could have the courtesy to upgrade IE8 (Some Hope.....?!)

   Mozilla Firefox 4 on the other hand runs absolutely fine under XP, though one or two features may be unavailable depending on your CPU/Graphics card.

   I hardly ever use IE8, and have no intention of getting Win 7! Google Chrome is ok but on the basic side! My browser of choice is Mozilla Firefox. Lunascape is an interestingly different browser, as it 'tiers' multi-tabs!

   IE9 just seems an anarchistic remnant of some long forgotten age!

   Microsoft has attempted to cast doubt on Firefox 4's download success, saying comparisons between the Mozilla browser, Chrome and IE9 aren't fair.

   The trio of browsers were all recently updated, leading many to compare the number of downloads - which Microsoft said was "premature at best, and misleading at worst."

   Mozilla claimed 7.5 million downloads in the first day - well over the 2.3 million Microsoft recorded on IE9's debut day a week earlier. Firefox 4's download tracking page claims more than 48 million at the time of publication.
