Downloaded and installed this program on day it was offered and now am getting a start up screen saying it's going to expire in 9 days and asking for registration code. Thought this was a free license for this version for life!
I realize these giveawayoftheday programs are lost when systems have to be reinstalled but it's not the case here.
E-mailed support@drive-software.com informing them of this and asking what's up but no response. Doesn't exactly speak too well of Drive-software.com.

Atomic Alarm Clock 5.81 is running just fine (and registered) on my old XP computer.
So the problem probably is on your end.
Leaves us the question why it did happen to you.Did you do some excessive cleaning lately?.
(Atomic Alarm Clock 5.81 was a giveaway dated September 23, 2008)

5.81 running fine here on 4 systems, [1 win2ksp4 and 3 XPsp3] don't see an update checkbox. I'd call it far more likely to be a registry cleaner or edit took it out.
IIRC, that giveaway used activate.exe and a bare setup,exe rather than wrapped installer and reg # in readme.txt.

Probably WAS an over-eager registry cleaner that killed the registration. I use CCleaner after every session to clean junk and in this case, it probably cleaned too well. Issue is that I used CCleaner many times after installing Atomic Alarm Clock. If I'm the only one to have reported a lost registration, must be particular to my system.
