half off all games including collector editions. I have all the games I want off them, but I thought it was worth mentioning. They do offer free games on here.

Michelle,
Where are the free games?
Posted 13 years ago # -
I think some of the free ones have been offered as Game Giveaway's of the Day here IIRC.
I was able to get two Collector's Editions for the price of one, Royal Envoy and Farmscape. Usually, I don't bother with CE's after a having a few disappointments. All these Xmas sales have been good. :)

That is what I meant they offer free games on giveawayoftheday. Make sure you back your game file up. I have my games backed up online that I bought from them for safe keeping.
Playrix doesn't have any free games on their site, but they do offer games on giveawayoftheday sometimes.

Michelle,
How do you back up your game files once downloaded?
(I'm guessing this means I can't go back to Playrix for these ever again)Posted 13 years ago # -
You can, but you have to get in touch with Playrix. Regnow a Digital River company operates the downloads. I am using firefox so if I download a game it will be in C:\Users\Username\Downloads
When you download a game that is a trial from Playrix. It says it is a trial in the filename. The full version games do not say that. I think it starts off with the game name and letters or numbers after it. I uploaded these files to http://www.adrive.com (unlimited bandwidth) and http://www.drivehq.com (they don't offer much). Bandwidth is important if you have to redownload your games or all in the same day.
