A "shell ext" file in Media Resizer caused my Windows Explorer to crash every time I would right click my desktop or try to open a file from the File Menu. Removing program solves the problem.

Happened to me too, 6 months later. I have Vista Ultimate.

You must have activated this application on a previous build of windows.
So I guess this application was not written for vista.

I had the same thing happen to me on XP Pro SP2, after installing Media Resizer. Right-click on desktop or in blank space on right pane of Explorer window would bring up the error message with the "Don't send now" option. Explorer would close and the desktop re-draw. It is a problem with the context menus, and I found a utility that fixed it for me. Backup registry first, then run this and disable the appropriate offending association. I figured it out by sorting by date. It fixed it even without rebooting.
