Since their world was invaded by an alien race, the Blobs have faced a lifetime of war. But now they have a chance to win the war once and for all.
In Blob Wars : Metal Blob Solid, you take on the role of a fearless Blob agent, Bob. Bob's mission is to infiltrate the various enemy bases around the Blobs' home world and rescue as many MIAs as possible. But standing in his way are many vicious aliens, other Blobs who have been assimilated and the evil alien leader, Galdov.

You can download Blob Wars: Metal blob solid HERE. There is a sequel to Blob Wars called ‘Blob Wars Episode II: Blob & Conquer, but it is not available on the Windows platform yet. The development team are looking for someone to code the game for them. .deb, .rpm and .tar.gz are available from HERE. The main updates from the first game include full 3D environments in which to explore and battle, use and acquire multiple weapons (uzis, shotguns, grenades), fight familiar enemies - assimilated Blobs, Eye Droids, Spider Blobs, Sentry Guns . The new game also includes auto targeting which enables you to maintain a lock on enemies whilst dodging around, you get Blob allies that fight alongside buddies such as Teeka the Scout as well as the usual Boss battles. There’s over 30 missions and includes mini-game and puzzles. Watch out for the windows version; it’s only a matter of time. :)
