   I did not know where to post this so ...here I am!

   OK, this is what I am looking for. A software that lets me create (*EASILY!) little loop snippets of synth music to add to my art videos on youtube and my site. There is something simuliar on MM in windows. But it was so much fun I wondered if there was software that made these little loop snippets from scratch. Nothing complicated, in fact it almost sounded like a game I had years ago "Jong".

   What would be cool is you know how when you do fractals in Apopysis and it lets you "mutate" them to change their appearance slightly? If it could do that with the music! I know I probably did a cruddy job of describing what I want! Forgive me... :D

   I used to have a copy of Fruity Loops (can't find the disc now). Not sure whether there's a freeware lite version though? May be worth checking it out. :)

   Hi, Ariana_FFD, you are right, it's hard to guess what you want. Did you try to google/bing with "audio cutter" or "audio editor" or whatever you think.

   Here are 3 tools, but please know, I have no experiences with them and can't tell you how they work.
   Audacity is very famous and needs some learning.
   Open source:

   Online tool:

   Yes Audacity is very good & get mp3 plugin Lame_enc.dll MP3 audacity
