   I sure would like to know why my comments are deleted w/out explaination. They are written nicely, not off topic nor use profanity. Some comments are either so stupid, unrelated, or misplaced and those are let through. Also, since you have my email address, I would at least expect the courtesy of a reason. Today's (first) was :

   GOTD facilitator/CyberPower Tech Co.:

   Their website currently has v14.1.1 for download/trial/purchase and this version says v14.1.1.
   In case we run into issues or wonder why something is different between the documentation on the website, would it be possible to get some info about bugs/features/improvements or the change log for version differences? Thanks

   If someone else received this treatment, and was savvy as I am, but was without the level of Professionalism and standards, was angered by this, they could cause a lot of trouble... fortunately, for all of us, that's not something that I would ever consider doing.

   Now, It's still waiting moderation, but my second comment is directed toward someone (who wrote message 1 @ 3:13 am, was posted by the moderator) was not only demeaning to EVERY SINGLE GOTD User, but obviously has put himself on a pedestal, was the intended recipient of my Curt, but not vulgar or overly negative message to hopefully stop making assumptions and spreading hate and discontent.

   Sure enough, my second comment was deleted. I don't spend time writing, editing, and proofing messages for the moderator to just delete. That is really a slap in the face.

   James, I just got done reading your ranting and raving (2nd comment submission that DID make it through) about the first poster...and while what you say isn't wrong, it is out of place and would justify a deletion if I were a moderator. To be honest, I'm surprised it didn't get deleted, I can tell you it most certainly would have here in the forums. On the other hand, the first post should have at least been edited if not thrown out. I think the developers would probably like to know how users think their software stacks up against the biggest freeware competitor.

   As for your first post, I see no reason why it should have been deleted. You must understand though that the moderators for the GOTD site are completely different from the forum moderators. They don't have time to e-mail everyone and let them know that their post was deleted and why. Please consider the circumstances before you fly off the deep-end and go ranting and raving in the forums. If you're so upset about it, feel free to contact the GOTD owners and let them have an eyeful.

   I am a forums moderator, only, but I would have edited out the 'freeloaders' part of #1 ProfVanSmack's comment, and deleted #12 James's reply to him/her. I would have deleted #12 because it was IMO totally unnecessary to say, and unrelated to today's giveaway software. I didn't see any other post by James, so can't say if I would have deleted it, or not.

   I agree comment no1 by ProfVanSmack sounds like arrogance in its purest form and might have upset some good people.
   But it looks to me PVS tried to promote CyberPower Audio Editing Lab in a clumsiest way ever.
   (I'm not suggesting PVS got his kick out of counting the negative votes)

   However comments like that should be totally ignored or taken with a smile.

   Unfortunately I found out about PVS comment (reading it here in the forums) far too late.

   Accidents do happen and troll posts slip through especially when subtleties of English slip past the moderator when there is a lot of comments to read and not a lot of time to do so.

   PVS should've gone straight to the trash and the nonsense that followed would never had happened. As for posting in the forums protesting that a post was deleted or awaiting moderation (on hold?) - there is little to gain. There is a reason for it - don't pretend that removing your post is on par with drowning your kittens... if you have a problem with moderation - send me a PM directly - don't drag it out in the forums.
