Hampang is a very cute Japanese arcade shooter where you shoot a wire to catch hams. As you shoot them they change into smaller hams which need shooting! They kill you though if you miss either the large or small hams and they hit you. The hams come down the screen and bounce at the base! If you shoot the small hams, they produce burgers to eat and score points! You can shoot your way through some of the blocks and there are cannons which increase your fire power. There are also teleports on some screens to get to other parts of the screen. A teleport gate warps you to a gate of the same colour. You win each screen by clearing all the hams and surviving! You have 60 seconds to clear each screen.
There are 10 stages to the game.
You will hear "Ai-ee!" rather a lot, if you don’t time it just right with the shooting! You get three lives but have to restart a screen if you lose a life. Lose three lives and it’s game over!
Select using the spacebar. Arrow keys to move L/R, spacebar to shoot. Simple! Except that it soon gets quite difficult to clear each screen and progress through the game! Nice music, and voice-overs in English. The hams look like cat’s faces, so you can guess how silly it all is. A lot of fun!
It plays in windowed mode, shame not full screen!

Use the left-hand button when you install the game. It extracts and installs to a folder in the download location, look for ƒnƒ€™PangI2006 unless you have renamed it! The game exe is in this folder.
You may wish to create a Desktop or Start Menu shortcut. To uninstall, just remove this folder.
