Games GuruMaybe the release has been delayed? Also if Playrix is based on the Pacific coast there's still plenty of time for them to meet the 23rd deadline as it's only just after 2om in the afternoon. :)

Many though how could you call a Farm simulator a game; anyway, I played the demo and though it worth purchasing. I love simulations games of any type (e.g. demolition simulations, car simulations, ship simulations, submarine simulations and real military simulations and life simulations in general.

I hope you don't mind me changing the title of the thread Michelle? If you do I’ll return it to the original. I just though seeing as I’d posted the ‘Farming Simulator 2011’ details above, it would be a good idea to add that to the title otherwise it would have be a waste of time spending so much time preparing the post. Not that it's going to be a massively popular title; because it’s more for those that love simulation games. Still, once it drops in price, maybe it will become more popular, though such games tend to hold their price longer because of being so niche :)

MemberThe game is like Gardenscapes and Fishdom all in one. You earn money by match 3. You have mini games during the game that you have to complete. I can't wait till Friday. I was shocked this was a CE when I downloaded it and installed the trial. I thought they were only going to release it in a game and not a CE, but since all games on Playrix are $19.95 unless you buy more than one game it is more for your money. So it is good.

Games GuruThe game looks good. I do like a game that has extras, but what's with the collectors edition? This reminds me of the recent rise of DLC's (for a lot of the big bucks games). You pay $50 for the full version game then a few months later they start to release add-ons that on their own cost little, but soon add up when the nth has been released. For example the developers of the recently released Civilization V have just released four extra packs for the game, ArmA II has just got another DLC added today and Mafia II had one last week. So now the arcade industry are releasing collectors editions. Sounds to me like they are just trying to con us out of more money.
I'd really love to buy Gardenscapes, but I'm not going to pay nearly $20 for a glorified match three game. (sorry for the rant, I've spent thousands on games since my accident, but find this sort of practice really annoying.
You can get both versions of Puzzle Quest for the price of Gardensape, a game on the same lines as Gardenscapes (they are also match three games though with a RPG flavour as opposed to a gardening game)
Playrix say that the game is exclusive to them. I bet a few months from now you'll be able to get if from places like Big Fish Games for a third of the price and maybe even on Steam in one of their many specials.

I just got it within the last two weeks off Bigfish. Bigfish gave me 4 free coupon codes this month for games I bought that I got somewhere else. Gamehouse however turned me down. Because of Bigfish I am getting a game this month (coupon). Bigfish rules and Gamehouse is starting to drool. It is only $6.99 or $9.99 if you are not a member. But imo Bigfish is worth joining. Bigfish has advantages and they made me one happy customer.
It is a CE. Ce's on Bigfish and Gamehouse are $13.99 for members if you are not a paying member you must pay full price. What Playrix does when you buy a game off them. Is they just give the full version download. No registrations, no nothing. Just install and play. I got Fishdom 2 Premium off them and Seasons Under the Sea. I had loads of problems with Gamehouse's version of Fishdom 2 Premium. Well one problem it would freeze and wouldn't go to the next level, but I got a refund and then I bought Playrix's version and had no problems whatsoever.
Playrix does give away games here. I'll support them.
White I am a casual game person. I play nothing but Casual games. Too many problems with The Sims 2 I just started playing only casual games.
Norton will give you a warning installing this game. All I did was allow it. I know it is a false positive.

Games GuruJust played the demo and i am impressed. It's definitely a game with lots to do including the main game (match three, hidden object mini games, a garden to upgrade and use as a screensaver, a storylineplus elements of a puzzle. Yes i am impressed with it. Though i probably wont re subscribe to BFG, I'll wait till the game has been out for a while before getting it. hopefully Steam will get it eventually, then you can look forwards to perhaps 250% off. i've got do many indie games that I've only just scratched the surface of that I will leave this one for now. (I will get it eventually). Just got an indie game called super meat boy that looks like it's from the developers of gish, or at least the one who did the art work. Very similar graphics and it's also a platform game. Very good value for money. Got it for 30% off via steam at a cost of £7.99, but that was the pre-order price. It's now £11.99, but still IMO a bargai, because you get the following features:
• Story mode, featuring over 300 levels spanning 5+ chapters
• Play as a Head Crab! (Steam Exclusive)
• 33 Achievements
• Warp zones that will warp you into other games
• Over 16 un-lockable able and playable characters from popular indie titles such as, Minecraft, Bit.Trip, VVVVVV and Machinarium
• Epic Boss fights
• Full Level Editor and Level Portal (Coming in January 2011, where you’ll be able to upload your own custom made levels and download others)
• A story so moving you will cry yourself to sleep for the rest of your life (that is you’ll find the game funny)
It'll probably be available for half price or more in a few months. Some may find the actual 'meatboy a little gory as he leaves blood trails wherever he's been.

MemberI got Farmscapes CE and Fishdom Harvest Splash for almost $28 today. If you get a game from Playrix back the game up. I use an online service drivehq or adrive. I got sick of waiting for gamehouse to release the game. I don't know if they even are releasing it. They may not, but if you look in match 3 it is there, but when you click on the link you get an error page.

MemberAs I mentioned I got Farmscapes yesterday and I got to say it is a great game. I had a problem though a couple times with it. Joe and his grandkid not being seen after completing some levels. http://img257.imageshack.us/i/72177617.jpg/ But other than that it is an excellent game. It is similar to Gardenscapes and Fishdom. You match in order to complete levels. It has Hidden Object Bonus levels. You make money in bonus levels and match 3 and you upgrade your farm. For example I just added a chicken to Joe's ranch and now also you can match eggs in the match 3 level.
It is a good game and I only had one problem so far and if you have this problem just close the game and restart it and they will reappear. Maybe that is part of the magic they are talking about in this game, lol. I just wrote Playrix about the problem.
Edit: Not a chicken house. A hen house.
