   Does anyone else have trouble getting Iwin free games to run? I was so pleased when I found them, and downloaded several. I got Alabama Smith and the Quest of Fate to run, which was great, but I'm having all sorts of problems with the others. I know that I shall get ads, which is fine by me (they have to pay for them somehow!), but the other games complain that I'm not connected to the internet which I am. I've looked in their support center forums and it seems I'm not the only one to have this problem, but I'm afraid that the stuff they put in their "help" pages is pretty incomprehensible to me as rather a non-techie person. I'd love to get it sorted as they do offer some wonderful games and I'm a great HOG and Adventure fan. I'm running Windows XP with Firefox as my default browser.

   Thank you, graylox. Interesting. I'm using AVG and haven't had any notifications of any nasties so far, but I'll be careful and keep a lookout. Pity if it's suspect, as there is so much good stuff on it and it looks like a very reputable site.

   I've avoided iWin games for a couple of years now because I got one of those programs installed that would watch my internet browsing, then pop up suggestions every so often. I had to delete everything associated with iWin to get rid. Not used iWin apart from the odd giveaway that’s had an iWin logo attached since. That's not to say they haven't changed since. MyPlayCity used to force you to install toolbars and have your home page changed before you could play most of their free games. Now they are as clean as a whistle. I just haven't bothered re-testing any iWin games since. Too busy buying games from more reputable places. :)

   all you need to do is click the link & put in the name of the URL you like to check if we go to http://hosts-file.net/ & put in iwin.com & scan we get back sites engaged in malware distribution (that is Spyware so on)

   also siteadvisor & MyWOT say not good.

   # 2 Q.also spyware scanner may stop the games (A)if you fix the spyware the game will not work.
