   First of all i want to say I'm big fan of your site and i check it daily and telling my friends about it ... it's really great site and great idea ... keep up the good work .

   My problem is that I've downloaded AltDesk software ( today's givaway ) from your site and installed it normally like i always do with all of your software but after setup finished it gave me a message ( Unregistered version ) and ( Continue or Buy now ) buttons ... i pressed continue and from the program preferences it told me i have only 30 days using it as trial ....

   i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again but it was the same result .

   Thanks for your help in advance

   You should be able to right click the app, and a menu will come up. I'm not sure which of the options it's under, but within that menu, it will say registration. If you click that, a window will come up with the registration code filled in. From here you can register AltDesk for free. Hope this helps!

   After you finished the installation and the programme runs, you'll find an icon in the notification area; right click that icon, choose registration and just follow the process. The code is already filled in. Click continue and all is done. You can check the license under Preferences/About.
   If you have already tried several times, it could be better to clean the caches and restart.

   I did as graylox and MaryA suggested - the code was there, pressed next and got an error message:Activation is not finished. Please contact support@astonshell.com.
   Don't forget to include your activation code and order information in your message.
   License Key : 55xxxxxxxxxxxx
   Version : 1.91
   UserID : 750D-75F8
   Server result: ERROR
   Server message: This key was invalidated.
   What now?

   Hi and welcome to the forums, RRyalsRussell.

   It seems you are new to the GOTD project.
   Please take care, to download, install, activate/register the programmes in the 24 hour giveaway period. There is no way to register a giveaway later.
   Please read the information given on the download-page and in the FAQ:

   The main idea of the project is to make registered version of particular product available free of charge for 24 hours. We protect either Setup.exe or Activate.exe against being used on any other date. So re-installation or installation on other days is not possible.

   More luck next time.

   I would try and contact support (if installed on the day of the giveaway) ... but unfortunately in most cases the online activation code is only valid the day of the giveaways.
