Such fun! I got Fishdom 2 recently, and thought I'd like to have the original, and here it is!

I did have a bit of a problem with the download/install: the first time I downloaded from the first d/l link, got activated okay, but the game wouldn't install, and I got this message on the GOTD site, after the activation message:

Warning: require(/home/vhosts/game.giveawayoftheday.com/wp-content/themes/default/setup_ticker.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vhosts/game.giveawayoftheday.com/wp-content/themes/giveaway/single.php on line 107

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/vhosts/game.giveawayoftheday.com/wp-content/themes/default/setup_ticker.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /home/vhosts/game.giveawayoftheday.com/wp-content/themes/giveaway/single.php on line 107

Then I deleted all the d/l files, amd re-downloaded from the Mirror Link, and it activated and installed okay, but I still got the same error message as above. The game seems to be playing just fine, tho.

I'm running XP Pro SP3, with plenty of resources.

I got no messages when I installed. I just had the bit of a hiccup of closing Firefox was considered a crash after I activated it. I always use the mirror link when possible.

Look at my high-score - how often does that happen?
Now I can't go on playing with this game, because this looks too funny. Have to find a new time waster.
I don't care about the aquarium part of the game - I just want to click some tiles; nice to relax - LOL

Can't go on playing? Sure you can; just go back to the Main Menu and create a new player!

I'll never match your achievement. In this game, I spend the money about as fast as I get it...

Fishdom and Fishdom 2 are definitely a game to get. I have Fishdom (gamehouse) Fishdom 2 Premium Edition, Seasons Under The Sea, and Harvest Splash (all of them from Playrix). I was counting the items in Seasons Under the Sea with Frosty Splash, Spooky, and Harvest.
If you buy Harvest Splash it comes with more items than the one that is in Fishdom Under The Sea, but if my calculations are correct the Frosty Splash in Seasons Under the Sea has more items than Frosty Splash. The Spooky tank looks the same in both editions.

Very good, graylox ... I'm up to $5,067,426 in money ... don't know if I ever noticed having one with all the same numbers. :) I can't upload a screenshot as I don't know how. I've had Fishdom for a year or two; played it for days; and I loved filling the aquariums, but after buying at least five of each type of fish and at least one of every type of decoration (I think; they got so crowded, it began to be hard to tell) for each of the three aquariums, I got tired of that, and now I also just play to click the tiles. At first I was just going to play until the "last" level, but I've finally decided there isn't one - you can play it forever! I'm on level 687. Just wait, Delilah; when you get far enough, suddenly you end up with TOO much to spend!

I didn't want to change to another player, because the game starts too easy; well, I did it and needed 22 games to get 5000 points.

When you spend all the money, then your fish-tank will soon be jam-packed, and the poor fishies tramp one-another on their feet:

Yes there are several other games of that kind, I even have some for the grand-kids, but I don't care about the story or the buying part, I just want to do the puzzles.
Scarlet, here is an explanation about how to post pictures, you can go to that thread and try it. You need a host for the pictures, I use http://www.picdepict.com/:

Somewhere is an updated tutorial, but I can't find it.
Maybe somebody else can explain it better than I can.

And how did you get all the fish and the same score? Some creative editing, I hope!

Scarlet, I'll probably not get a whole bunch of extra points, as in Fishdom, I just create new players after a while. And in Fishdom 2 you can buy new tanks for $4000.

EDIT: Okay, the picdepict images are back now. And when I clicked on the Random Image link at the top of the page, I got Rabbit's image from the Jane Croft game from yesterday. At least I assume it's his. One of those small world moments...

I think I'll look for another host. They have quite often problems, otherwise, they are fast and there is no need to install anything or to subscribe.

To the fishies:
No, no editing & no cheating.
I have completed all 3 tanks long before. And you keep your score when you switch between the tanks. That's all.

Thanks, graylox. Maybe I'll try it. Yes, I felt really sorry for the poor fishies when I added too many to the tank. I didn't try it with that many of the same kind though - that really looks crowded! Also, if you add too many plants and statues, it gets difficult to find a place to put them all, and you can't see anything very well. Besides, I found it less interesting to add accessories once you get the gold cup on all three tanks. I wonder what happens when you reach $9,999,999. It doesn't look as though another number would fit on the score, but maybe it does. :)

I personally love the fish. It is one thing that makes it unique from other match 3 games.

Edit: Though I agree having a lot of fish in one tank is not good or items.

When a friend first pointed me in the direction of free games, the very first one I got (from Gamehouse) was Fishdom H2O which got me hooked on Hidden Object games. I loved it and still play it from time to time as it's so pretty and the fish have such fun characters. My husband also plays it a bit (untimed) and he reckons that it does his coordination good and also his concentration (he's nearly 80). So maybe games are good for us (lol)?
