This is a great program, have been using it for the last 2 days, went to start it this morning and it has reverted to evaluation mode. I installed as required during the giveaway period and worked flawlessly. I have it installed on 2 different machines and they are both defaulting to eval mode.
Anyone else having this problem, would like to get it running and complete my coping.

Got the same thing here in Canada!
That thing reverted to an evaluation version and ask us to buy it for full features!
I haven't installed anything new after this software as I have been down with the flu.
And, YES, I have installed and checked it fully on giveaway day! My computer has not crashed, I did not clean with a program like Glary or CCleaner.
This is not what I want from a giveaway, I want it to work at least a year or unless I myself do something to break it and this is not the case here.

Same problem here. Works if I set the date to 1st Nov. I'm surprised so few of us have commented - does that mean it's not a common problem?
Good product and otherwise excellent giveaway.
No problem here - because I didn't download/install this programme ;)
Could that be an effect of the website problems?
Did you ask the developer for help? That would be my first choice for a request.

I emailed them using the link and waiting now. If anyone hears from them it would be nice if we can all remember that we are not the only ones with this issue.

you're right. I posted this same problem on the Dutch forum yesterday and found that others had it too. Someone adviced me to put the system clock back to the install-date and that works, but it's clearly a mistake, isn't it?
Anybody can make mistakes and that's not a problem, as long as you own up to it.
Giveawayoftheday is definitely lacking in the social graces department, I think.

There is no need to perform the download just use the licence code above (you must paste it). I did and it now works again.

The code provided by Softpedia (if used on the program offered by GAOTD) will be disabled in December.
You must download the program offered by Softpedia ... then you can use their code (for lifetime)
1) Uninstall the program (by GAOTD)
2) Download the program from Softpedia (... better to use "External mirror 1 [EXE]")
3) Install the software (downloaded from Softpedia)
4) Use the code indicated by Softpedia (giveaway)

Found out last night that the program didn't work. Filled out the contact form and copy/pasted the same to Digiarty's support. Came home from work today to find a reply from Digiarty with a download link and a key. I received an apologetic letter with what looks like a full, possibly upgradeable code. Loading it after my shower. I will repost if all is good.

WinX DVD Ripper and something for Mac OS users

Boy, we’ve got news for you! Digiarty Software is going to post WinX DVD Ripper again. Though the problem was on our side on October 31, they supported the idea of repeating the giveaway for you. Moreover the upcoming version will be updated according to some improvements suggested by you.

I downloaded and installed the program, and when I went to enter the activation/license code, there was already one there, and it's not the one in the Readme file. Do I need to remove the one that's there, and enter the one from the Readme file?
Also, once finished with the installation, the Digiarty page that opens has a giveaway of this product that's good until Nov 17, with yet another license code:
Delilah, I would advise you to download and install the new updated GOTD version and register with the key provided in the readme.txt - just like always.
However - I didn't install it, so it's just a guess.

Angelynn, I had the same experience with trying to enter the GOTD license code after deleting the other one that was there, and solved it the same way you did: closing the program and re-opening it. And I had deinstalled the previous version of the program before installing the new one, in case anyone's wondering if that would make a difference. (That was recommended on the developer's website.)
