Of the programs previously mentioned in this thread, the only one I have tried (with caution) is the SlimCleaner Beta. I like the concept of having a "second opinion" coming from the program's active users.
Regarding the alternative that has been suggested, bloggers have reviewed the product (and seem to approve of it).
