I could have sworn these guys promised a free upgrade if you posted at least a six page powerpoint converted file on YouTube and put a hyperlink to their site in the description. I did that the same day I installed it, I sent them an email and the hyperlink to my video, and never heard word one from them. Not that it's a big deal, but then again, a deal is a deal, right? I'm not impressed with their products enough to pursue this, but this reflects negatively on them and on GOTD; Wondershare used false advertising to promote their product and duped GOTD and me, and who knows who else.
Did anyone else post a video? Did you hear from Wondershare?

...but this reflects negatively on them and on GOTD;...
Why does this reflect negatively on GOTD?
I haven't seen any feedback made by other users.
However, did you write them again with a reminder?I can't say anything to this occurrence, I never was a friend of Wondershare and don't install their software - but that's just me.

I did the same as promytius and I am yet to hear from Wondershare. Considering that nearly two weeks have passed since I did that, I think its a safe bet that we needn't expect any wonders. I did like their Democreator software which they offered here earlier which I lost in a computer reformat.
I think their unresponsiveness is deliberate and not an oversight. That is why I wont be writing to them.Posted 14 years ago # -
I did it the last time they Did the same thing but with DemoCreator, they Sent me the Email pretty fast.
So I don't see why the would not keep to the deal this time.

Well, I would say, when a company isn't true to its word, the customers should criticise such behaviour. Not anywhere in the world wide web, but directly there it belongs. Write to Wondershare and send a copy to the GOTD team; they should know when their business partners don't keep their word.
If you are on Facebook, you could post it there too, as they always are looking for "friends".graylox

@promytius
The promotion is still on their webpage right here
Most probably a lot of people took advantage of this offer and ...some emails get lost in cyberspace.
How about sending them a 'reminder' and report back after a week or so?

Wondershare has acknowledged my Youtube post and kept their word regarding the offer of a free software. Sincere apologies are due to them for having doubted their word and I make them without any reservation.

Thanks prs for the update.
To connect the developer is always worth a try. You can't lose anything - often you get what you want.
I think this promotion was/is such a success for wondershare, that they need some time to work off all the answers.graylox
PS
I added a "?" to the title, as I think the delay is not intended by the company.Posted 14 years ago #
