   Most of the regular community members will already know about the Hidden treasures to be found over at MyPlayCity. I used to avoid the site like the plague because they used to have quite an aggressive installation process that forced you to install toolbars ad hijack your home page before you could play the free games. That was unacceptable for me; however they have since revised their practices.

   MyPlayCity now have 16 hidden Object games to download for free:

   A few notes:

   On some computers (fairly common from what I've noticed) Coyote's tale is extremely slow.

   Also, Spirit of Wandering is weird. Once you get to the end, even by creating a new profile, you cannot go back through the areas. I doesn't even really tell you you're complete.

   I ended up removing both games.

   Wow, thank you WR! They have a big selection of free games. :D I avoided MPC due to the high jacking but since that's no longer the case, I'll give them a try.

   I found a good match 3, The Rise of Atlantis, for free too. I think it was a give-away here in '09. I lost it with my old hard drive and will be happy to have it on my desktop again. I had Mary Celeste on my wish list at BFG too.

   I purchased Coyote's Tale when it came out without trialing it and quickly regretted it. It ran on my machine fine but I found the storyline and characters offensive and annoying.

   Hi Tailteann,

   Yeah, I also avoided MPC for a long time until someone happened to mention that they no longer insisted that you had to install toolbars before you could play any of their games (well, most of them). Tnhere's a lot more than just M3 and HOG's. There's got to be a few hundred games minimum, covering all of the main game genres and including some excellent high profile games as well.

   It is indeed a wide and wonderful selection of games! I spent a lot of time searching their site yesterday and found many on my wish list. I'm so glad you posted the links, thanks again. :)

   While installing my games I got the option to get their tool bar and some other game manager type software (at least I think that's what it was). I just un-clicked those boxes. There is something that opens your browser to their site when closing a game, but that's a small price to pay for such a wide selection of free games. I read their EULA too and it's pretty straightforward.
