   I am trying to Activate Ncesoft's Flip Book Maker.

   It is giving me the following message:
   FATAL ERROR: KEY IS INVALID

   I’ve done this numerous times with GAOTD software and have never had a problem, and I did read the readme.txt again to make sure I was doing everything the right way.

   I’m on Vista Home Premium 64, SP2. I am using an administrator account. I even tried again by shift-right-clicking on activate.exe and selecting “run as administrator.” Same thing three times in a row.

   Each time, just to be sure, I re-downloaded the program.

   Has anyone encountered this? Can you help?

   Also try rebooting your router and/or modem.

   "Key is invalid" - (when running the setup/activate).

   Normally means that the GOTD software has been updated to a newer/different version and a new version is now available on the website. Usually this is because the developer has fixed some problems with the software while the giveaway is still running - and a new download has been created. To allow the new version to be unlocked, the old versions unlock key has to be changed.

   Solution: download the updated version from the GOTD site and use that instead. (There is of course other causes possible - but this is the usual one. Check the comments - there may be a comment from the GOTD team that a new/updated version is available)
