I don't usually post games that are supported by adds, but I though the following 2 (both mountain bike games) were worth it. The adds are pretty unintrusive ao will not spoil the games enjoyment. I will be adding images at a later date. i apologise for the less than polished post. I have around 20 games to post, all of which i wanted to post beofre the end of week 104, but got sidetracked with my win 7 installations 9I've installed three copies this week and have needed to migrate a lot of the programs over, which has taken me a lot of time to do. I will over the curse of the next week post the rest of the games as well as add images and where possible videos to these posts.
MountainBike Challenge (34.8Mb)
MountainBike Challenge is an easy to play, yet difficult to master downhill mountain bike game. It's totally free, and supported by in game ads (which aren't intrusive). The idea is to practice course, and then enter qualifications, competing online to get the fastest time.
Each week there's one track to compete on, and you can't use all the tracks, just that one. The courses are fairly long, and really fast. Control is just via the cursor keys, making it really easy to pick up, but finding the fastest line and not crashing is harder.
You can practice and qualify as many times as you like, once you've registered. When qualifying, you "race" a ghost, which you can set. By default it will be the next fastest competitor to you, based on your training time. You can race any ghost in the leaderboard though, so choosing the fastest rider means you can learn their tricks.
MountainBike Challenge looks good, with long views down the mountains as you ride, and the sound effects are good enough. The downside of this is that there is only one track to play at a time, and while it's easy to play, it's a shame you can't lean back and forward on your bike.
The online element makes this simple game competitive. The sense of speed is good, but overall it's a bit limited.

Challenge 2010 is Mountain Bike racing game. You can run multiple tracks, and if that is not enough you can run online with other competitors.
Mountain bike Challenge 2010 is a very realistic simulator with hard mountain descents. Some of the circuits you'll find in this game are based on real circuits around the world.
Do not be fooled by the size of the download, Mountain Bike Challenge 2010 features beautiful 3D graphics.
The controls of the bike are fairly simple, using only using the arrow keys.
Note that the wet earth and grass are not stable, and you'll find these areas a challenge, especially when speeding downhill. Watch out for stones on the road, and the unexpected spills that help test the strength of your helmet. :)
