Ok, so each weekday today, I will be posting many games, as a celebration that we got this far.
First off is ColdGearz. Its a Gamemaker side-scrolling platformer shooter, with really good cartoony graphics, and has a really good storyline. (Not anything fantastic like Iji or Cave story, but decent all the same).

The next game is called Blackthorne. Its another side-scrolling platformer, but it doesn't really feel like a platformer like Coldgearz does, but it has fantastic gameplay (story is pretty non-existant). It was made by Blizzard/Interplay, and must be played on DOSBox. (Not sure about XP). (As a side note, it took me a while to figure out that my gun had to be put away to jump up/across).

Finally, I have a set of games called Dizzy:Something about Dizzy
Its a straight-up platformer where you play as Dizzy, the egg. You bounce/roll around the level (You would think that so much bouncing would crack the egg), which is the reason for the name. Unlike most platformers, this has a very strong focus on logic/puzzles. The original game was called Dizzy, then 7 more games follow (with many spinoffs created). Finally, there is an engine called DizzyAGE, which helps people create more Dizzy games.
The 7 original games are called Dizzy, Treasure Island Dizzy, Fantasy Land Dizzy, Magicland Dizzy, Spellbound Dizzy, Prince Of The Yolk Folk and Crystal Kingdom Dizzy, and the original spinoffs: Kwik Snax (which was a puzzle game that had a super cool Dizzy rock band in it :D), Fast Food Dizzy (PAC-Man Rip-off), Dizzy Down The Rapids (Action game involving Dizzy in a barrel and apples), Panic Dizzy (another puzzle game) and Bubble Dizzy (in which you had been thrown off a pirate ship into the deep water and have to find you way up to the surface by riding bubbles.
(Dizzy was originally released for the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum, but most of the games have been converted for DOS. I am unable to find the original spinoffs, but if anybody can find me a link, I will be quite happy)
