The following is a very unusual racing game that requires only a working microphone to work. no keyboard or mouse is required - (apart from when you actually open the game with the mouse). I mentioned it in one of my early postings in this project (around week 12 I think). I'd already collected the information below, so though I may as well post it becasue I gave scant information as well as no images and videos in the original post.
Racing Pitch (3Mb)
Take out your microphone and become a powerful race car engine! Mimic the sound of a race and start tearing up the track. The game listens to your roaring and matches your speed accordingly.
Racing Pitch has party games and track challenges, and you can even take a break from the racing by taking a flight in a hot air balloon. It'll leave you breathless!
True to its name, Racing Pitch involves getting dragsters to accelerate by half-growling, half-screaming into a microphone. That's right, a microphone, which means you'll need one to play (I used the USB mic that came with my Xbox 360 copy of Rock Band, but any headset will do). Pick a character to match your vox-box -- Stemcell-Bill sounds in the baritone range, while Miss O'Pzekt responds to a nice, screechy alto -- and you're ready to squeal, squawk, and rumble."Drag Race" lets you propel a race car with the sound of your voice down a stretch of track on a timer -- keeping the needle buried by maintaining a constant pitch is critical, and pulling that off without cracking or wavering unless you're a trained vocalist is harder than it sounds. "Pro Drag Race" is just "Drag Race" with a requirement to drop your voice at timed intervals to mimic shifting gears.
"Hot Air Balloon," the only pitch-averse game, has a DS-like feel to it: in order to keep a hot air balloon aloft, you have to blow into the microphone (gently) to ignite the burner and maneuver through shifting air currents to reach your destination before time runs out
