I have installed, and love, Process Lasso and would prefer it to take care of all processes rather than Anvir. I have gone all through Anvir and cannot find where I can stop it changing the priority of processes. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
How to stop Anvir's priority change settings

Select Tools->Options->Performance
There are 3 sections under the Performance category.
1. Performance
2. Process Priority
3. Run as Service.Under Performance - deselect the first checkbox - labelled "Reduce the Priority".
If you care about performance - unselect the "Optimize memory" also. (These memory optimizers don't work to speed up anything - speaking from a computer science / software engineer point of view... I'm not going to debate it)
Under Process Priority - check that the box on the right is empty (remove any existing items). Leave the setting of process priorities up to Process Lasso.
Run as Service - just leave it alone (it is probably empty anyway.
Finally - There are some other sections like "Startup Monitor" where there is some functionality on both sides. It doesn't hurt to leave it on in AnVir (in fact it is probably a good idea).
Disclaimer: I am running "AnVir Task Manager Pro 6.3.1" - which is different to the most recent Giveaway of "AnVir Task Manager 6.2" from Jan 13,2010. I am guessing the options are the same.

Bubby, Thank you so much for your detailed answer. Absolutely perfect! Easy enough for this thick grandmother to follow!
My 'Performance' was exactly the same as yours and the first checkbox is now deselected. However both second and third options were different to yours, both were lists. And the 'Optimize Memory' area was already deselected. I agree with you about memory optimisers but I don't know whether I deselected this when I first installed it, or that's how it came.
No 2 was headed up 'Save Changed Processes Priority' with a 'list of processes which priority is automatically changed' - however it was blank. No 3 was a list of the applications that will be started as services on Windows Startup - this was also blank. Therefore, I am assuming that the first one - Performance - was the only one I had to worry about. And now I don't, thanks to you.
I really appreciate your reply, it didn't just take you 2 minutes' work and I am very grateful to you.
