I for one appreciate the fact that JCollake has been VERY hands-on with today's offering of their software. I think it makes users feel like maybe the software is better and that the developer will go that extra mile to take care of their customers. The response to today's giveaway is very encouraging as the past giveaways haven't really garnered much good responses. I'm not saying that it would have helped the developers overall thumbs ratings (not that those really matter anyway,) but I think it would have helped them build a solid core of customers. I'm more inclined to purchase a lifetime license from Bitsum for the simple fact that JCollake has been so accessible and helpful. I hope future developers take note and continue in JCollake's footsteps.
We need more developers like JCollake!

+1. This sort of passion and involvement also usually bodes well for ongoing support and continuing development of a product.

I agree with you both. I already got Process Lasso several weeks ago and have been very hapy with it. A great piece of software well worth downloading.

Obviously very passionate and dedicated regarding his work - thumbs up here!

Oh yes, we need more such developers and more such quality programmes.
This was/is a great GOTD day.
I would like to thank jcollake for participating in the project, for this great tool, and for his open and honest attitude here in the forums and today on the comments site; he even answers promptly on emails.
Another thank-you goes to the person behind the curtains, who had the idea for this giveaway and the GOTD team who realised the idea.
My third thank-you is for the experienced moderation of the comments, which bears BuBBy's reliable signature.I think I'm not the only happy GOTD user today :)

This thread with my name naturally attracted my attention, lol.
Thanks guys ;). I'm glad I've been helpful, and always just love seeing people use my software. I'm a bit humbled though.. Please remember I'm just a guy and far from perfect. I also am very fortunate that I am able to do what I'm passionate about.. I could just as easily not be so lucky and be doing work I hated. So, its really not much trouble for me to do what I love.
I guess its all the developers who are in it only for the money that make me look decent, lol. Anyway, I appreciate it.. it is real nice to know my work is appreciated.

I think hotdoge was referring to poor service from a gas station or something...

I'm sure it was an analogy.

Mr. Collake rocks!!
I had an activation problem (my computer sucks) and had been working to resolve the problem for several hours. I wrote an email 15 minutes prior to the end of the giveaway as a last ditch effort to get some help with the activation 'cause I really wanted this program. By the time I woke up this morning, Mr. Collake had sent me an email and helped me fix the problem.
So thank you very much for all of the help and you will have a long time fan. Have a wonderful day. :))

The activation server must have been red hot and smoking last night...

Did you ever see a developer who says thank you to the users and the person who arranged a GOTD?

... Truthfully, accolades are not for me. I am a humble man, with many flaws. One of them is I can not help everyone, and do mess up sometimes.
I *DO* appreciate the love though, it is inspiring. It seems inspiration is hard to preserve in this world, and you have re-enforced it in me.
Well, thanks to everyone for a great experience. As odd as it sounds, I’m emotionally invested with my software, so a ‘bad’ promotion experience would have crippled me ;).
I am actively working on v4. I am hoping to take PL to the next level ;).
BTW, you can also thank BuBBY, for setting up this deal between this site and myself. He was the spark ;)

Despite all the fashionable talk in America since the '80s about how "greed is good" and how it will make us a better country, that's not what Adam Smith said about capitalism. He called the driving motivation "ENLIGHTENED self-interest". It could be Jeremy represents that too small (IMHO) group of businessmen who just get it. Or it could be he's just classy. I suspect the latter was his bigger driving motivation.

Thanks BuBBy ...for being that spark that made us enjoy this neat giveaway in first place.
