Just received an email that Uniblue SpeedUpMyPC 2010 is free for this weekend only from http://store.v3.co.uk
Not tried this myself, as I'm a big fan of System Mechanic, but might be worth a download?

I also am a fan of System Mechanic and have an ongoing subscription with them since Oct. I used their trial software along time ago and never had the money. My brother bought it for me. My father did actually and then my brother added a year and made it a subscription. I have that till Oct. 3 2011 when they will charge my brother's account. I am going to talk him into renewing before then and saving $15.00.
I tried this tool though and I didn't like it. It looks to me like it has no registry cleaner. It has a drive cleaner, but it looks like most of it's tools it changes stuff in windows to get it to run faster and System Mechanic has that too, but I think there are probably free tools that are better than this free offer and easier to understand what it is doing.
Be cautious when installing Uniblue software.
Read the WOT ratings carefully:

@graylox
WOT in my opinion is good for pointing to (and advising against) small time spammers but is not that good when it comes to companies offering products for trade.
WOT public opinions are mostly hogwash from disgruntled users (or worse, mischievous con artists wanting to blast companies)
In fact, on the page for Uniblue that you link to, you can see this advisory from the WOT team: Controversial rating: the ratings for this site are conflicting
Now if you also look at http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/liutilities.com , you will see it is rated GREEN even if Site Advisor public opinions are also overrun by red propaganda without substance as all Online affiliations going from liutilities.com are also rated "GREEN".
Further proof of good behavior from Uniblue is found in this section: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/liutilities.com/downloads/ as it lists all 158 downloads as "Green" (Minor nuisances).
So yes by all means, be careful but don't base your opinion just on WOT users that can write what they want without verification but also look at Site Advisor downloads section where programs have undergone testing from McAfee experts.
BTW, folks- did anyone notice the new "FREE scan for Windows errors" is Uniblue's RegistryBooster based, run from the Maltese http://www.liutilities.com/ domain?
I've been ignoring that line over at http://www.freewarefiles.com for a loooong time.
I am, as I've said, not a fan of web-based access to my machines- and having something remotely scan my registry and possibly make changes isn't to my taste.
a cursory search shows that many sites use the same free scan:
http://www.winstall.com/ (windows reinstall)
http://www.windowsreinstall.co.uk/ (ditto)
http://www.hotlib.com/
http://www.findmysoft.com/
http://ptf.com/ (prime time freeware)
http://www.tech-archive.net/
http://software.informer.com/
http://www.solidblogger.com/
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/
And I think I'll stop there. I think being "eligible for FREE scan for Windows errors." is a pretty low bar to clear...
"did anyone notice the new "FREE scan for Windows errors" is Uniblue's RegistryBooster based"
Goodgotd, I sure did; as far as the Maltese domain, no I didn't. I also noticed that the name isn't listed with those 3 links - on main product page, and the page to go to download page - but they are all Uniblue. Furthermore, those scans are free, but to rid your computer of anything it finds, you have to purchase their software (found that out a few years ago). As for the free scan...heck, anyone can get that just by going to their website...(slight chuckle).
