i'm using Jasc animationshop3 to create pictures with included .gif's.
Maybe it's something for more people ([i]and i'd like to update! ;-) )

Memberbut that's about as far as animationshop goes. Isn't that a companion to Paint Shop Pro?
Blender is free, and you can make entire movies with it. (so far, short ones- but BBB is great)
