Do any of you play wild games? Their game manager came with this computer. Anyone can join. They do charge for their games but you can play them for free as a trial games. when you play for free you can play 2 sessions on each game for an unlimited time each play. I find that that gives me plenty of time to finish even the longer HOG's. They also have adventure, match 3, puzzles, racing, etc. I've been playing their games for 6-8 months & have had no issues. Their games & manager are safe. Each Wed. they put out 5-10 new games. This week they have the new Mortimer Beckett game! I downloaded it to play this weekend.

Hey Dawn I have run wild games from Wild Tangent off their manager BUT wild Tangent likes to add odds n ends that Big Fish game mananger does not ..Then sometimes when you uninstall it with out Revo it leaves nasty traces ..I just picked up the disc for Fate the traitor soul and it will not install at all so it is up to you but with me Wild Tangent related stuff is a no go unless it is the last object on earth..Be carefull as it may cost you a Tech bill..Steve (dungeon crawler)

I don't trust them too much, and there isn't anything about WildGames that would convince me to use their system. They used to come with a copy of BlasterBall 2 Holidays, but not anymore. The only reason it comes with computers is because the OEMs make money from it.

Never had any problems with Wild Tangent, they have their own uninstaller. Have played many of their games all the way through without paying a penny. However, I have purchased some games that I really liked.

Oh the games ran fine that's fer sure but I was runnin' an older slower machine that was pretty open to the world crud wise in some of the extra stuff they tend to stick in but now I got to back up from the last post and say with this bigger machine I got that Fate game went in no problem but.. so I'm havin' some funtime now.. plus I'm a rookie at the plate here :-) and get worried bout any extra I got to unload when uninstalling them..Enjoy the weekend with Mr Beckett

Thanks for all your replies & thoughts on the matter. I haven't had any problems either running them or uninstalling games. For me, its a great way to play free popular games. I saw the polar bowler....not real fond of that game so I skipped the offer.

The reason that they come with computers. HP and Compaq computers that I know of is because Hewlett Packard owns them. I trust them, but they are expensive. I use Gamehouse and Bigfish.

When I got my HP, there were about 16 "trial" games from Wild Tangent pre-installed on the computer. All were unlimited time but 4 sessions/game. I finally uninstalled them AND their games manager about a year ago. The only problem is they are still on the "D" drive which is the "emergency" backup for the "destructive restore". Avira spends a lot of time checking them out week after week!
