Pricing in the US seems to be messed up. All are $4.99 individually. However, 2 Deux Ex games are packaged at $11.99 (more than the cost to buy them individually) while the 3 Hitman games are packaged together for $7.99 (only $2 more for all three than to get any one). Seems like they have these two package rates backwards. They also have a package rate of $16.98 for all 5 games.

Thanks for keeping the steam deals uptodate Deserthead. I've been backing up files on my two main computers in preparation for yet another format. Been having loads of problems and think i may have caught something.
The Square Enix/Eidos deals are quite decent on the UK side though you could have got the whole shebang for a lot less over the Xmas period. I purchased the whole Eidos package for around £30 when they had those deals on in December.
I lke the Battlestations games; they are easy going flight sims with some marine action as well. Order of War ( a strategy game) is also a great game; you now get all the original pre order offers added for free now as well. Well worth £21 for all three games. I paid more than that just for Battlestations Midway the first time I bought it on disc. (I ended up purchasing it on Steam as well, but only because it wa spart of a package deal)
Gotta get back to backing up (yeuk).

Another day another deal.Wednesdays offer is a bundle of 3 Tomb Raider titles and The Last Remnant.50% off individual games(£6.99-£9.99) and 66% off the bundle(£26.51).No doubt dollar prices will vary.
Hope backup going well Mr Rabbit,it's a job I hate having to do.Posted 14 years ago # -
Finished backing up but haven't actually done a format yet. Been discovering what the most recent release on PC is like instead (Assassins Creed 2) Weird begining where you have to move the arms and legs of a pretty life like looking baby. Dreading reinstalling everything once the format has been done.
I've moved the topic to the Games discussion forums.

I thought I'd posted this last night, but the browser crashed after I'd clicked on send post.
Gyromancer (£5.49)
THE GAME:
Gyromancer is a Pop Cap / Square Enix collaboration. This is a Puzzle RPG.
Join Rivel and his companion, Laska, on a grand chase spanning twelve stages. What awaits at the end of the hunt? Each stage contains its own objectives, from defeating the beasts that block your way to solving puzzles before time runs out. Rivel can learn to summon dozens of the beasts he encounters, bending their power to his will. Each beast you command in battle is unique, so find the one that best suits your play style.
Hidden within each stage are a number of awards earned for completing feats great and small. Finding them all won't be easy. Are you up to the challenge?
New battle system based on Bejeweled Twist
Command unique beasts to battle your foes
Search the map for items, coins, and new beasts to fight at your side
Gain levels in battle and acquire powerful new beasts
Assume the role of Rivel, a deadly mage, as he rids Aldemona Wood of a brooding darkness
Or you can buy Gyromancer and Mini Ninjas together for only £13.93
Mini Ninjas is usually £29.99 and Gyromancer £10.99. If you buy them seperatley it will cost you £14.99 and £5..49 respectively. Buying them together gets you a further discount of £6.99 from the half price offer. So basically if you wanted Mini Ninjas it would pay for you to buy the package as its cheaper than the single game, lol.

Both games are excellent:
Batman is definitely worth buying. The graphics are excellent and it is a very immersive game:
Just Cause is a little dated now, but is different enough from the usual shooter to consider buying, especially with the deal price. I have a feeling that the Eidos SquareEnmix package will be coming around again sometime soon (possibly Easter), as I've said previously, I got the whole package for just over £30 that included most of the games that have been offered this week plus more.
I'm really looking forwards to Just Cause II being released. It's a sort of base jumping game mixed with a story lead shooter game

Had to buy it!! to good to pass up.
I've played Batman the demo and its pretty fun the best thing about this deal is they make you get another game for even a cheaper price than what the discount for batman is being offered for by itself.
2 games for less than 1. What a concept.lol only steam could do it.I'd bet steam is making these companies and programmers money hand over fist. Before I discovered them, I would buy a game or 2 a year and just find the free ones and get bargain games. I'm talking about buying new releases.
Now, I'm getting games sometimes when they are released and almost always buying them a year later when prices drop, while picking up the games I always wanted for nothing from them. Here is for instance of steam making them money-
Battlestations Pacific had been out for years. Rabbit and I had bought both bought IT from d2d. Rabbit, also bought it from steam to,lol. Fun game, but at the time was so miserable to play cause it was so touchy and jumpy.
Steam picks it up and starts selling it. The guy starts making money and starts producing patches. For steam he has had several, but for d2d only one to fix the flaw.
-------
On a different note-Something that has been bothering me,
I dont know were people keep getting they are more expensive than other places. I've always seen them cheaper, unless steam promotes a deal and the other companies try to beat it. Which I dont see how, cause they have to have permission of the owner to drop prices or they eat the price.
Its not that big of a deal. I just see misconception from time to time and was wondering were people were getting this from. I'd bet its just a steam phobia.Posted 14 years ago # -
It's over four years old now, but is still a great game, especially if you like Stealth games. This is definitly a steal at only £2. Available from Steam.
