I'm in the process of downloading this but I have to say it scared the heck out of me when the first thing I saw was
"A dangerous virus has escaped".
I hope it is as they describe - a mix of Tetris and Match 3.

This kind of virus isn't contagious! That is, unless consider game addiction contagious. LOL
It is as they describe and cute!
I clicked on the icon, the phone rang and I got distracted and I just realized the game never opened and I still haven't played it.
I have downloaded this twice but it will not open.
It finally opened. Again it seems you have to be connected to the internet the first time you open it.
Congratulations you got the game to work. Myself and a few others are unable. It seems Gambana games doesn't like me to have the game. :(
I've have this same problem for all three Gambana games. Even tried to find it on their website but alas no game.
Hi, Tiffany, sorry to hear about your activation problems.
I have read on the comments site, that WR and other users gave a lot of advice. Nevertheless, let me once again highlight that you always first should unpack the .zip file to your desktop or a folder, and then activate and install the programme.
Don't run the activate or set-up directly out of the archive.

Thanks graylox for that. Yes, that's what I have done. I've even re-downloaded the files incase there was a fault, I've Run as Adminstrator, I've even got into the registry and found the Gambana files and deleted them and re-tried all over again.
I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
Things happen. :)
I never get some TellTale games to run.
I'm the same with some BigFish games. Some work, some don't. I'm just glad they offer a freebie if it doesn't work. :)
Graylox, I have trouble with TellTale Games as well. I just lower the resolution to where it's rather grainy and pixelated but the game works. I just don't seem to enjoy their kinds of games so I'll just skip them. They're so blasted big, too!
Tiffany, I've had the same luck with BigFish games. If they don't work, they give you a free game. In some cases, I've found that actually RUNNING in admin mode will make the game work. It may be something in your graphics setup that it doesn't like.
I would contact Gambana and explain the problem. They may be able to help you (even if it does say no support).
I downloaded Dr. Pills twice - the first time, somehow all the data in the file didn't download, so I deleted that whole download, and then re-downloaded it, installed it, and played a few levels of it. That was on this old-as-the-hills computer with XP SP3 running on it. I got the game, earlier, on my SIL's brand spanking new computer with Windows 7 on it - runs/works 'like a charm'. :)
I just tried to open Alchemy Mahjong and it says my trial has expired. I thought when we got it from GOTD it was a full version. I'm pretty sure I activated it in time. Now it says activation is no longer available.
I just searched for the title and a very old thread says that the giveaway was for only ten days. Kind of not worth the bother.
My copy is still activated.
All game giveaways are full version games that are not time limited.
The probable explanation was that you didn't activate it correctly. I think Alcheny Mahjong was one of those games where you had to activate it first then install the game, or the other wy around. If you did it the wrong way around it would fail to register corectly
Hi, Terri, my Alchemy Mahjong is still running strong.
You say:

Oh well I guess I can live with one game less.
