From the website HedgeHog's JumpList Launcher :
The newly introduced jumplists, which appear when you right-click on an icon in the superbar, help improving the workflow a lot, but if you want combine multiple programs in one icon, you’re screwed. The ‘Jumplist-Launcher’ comes to rescue!
There is a video on the site which illustrates the program much better.
I used this freeware to create 3 launchers Photo, Video, Audio which I placed in the taskbar and give me quick access to the 15+ programs I frequently use. Before, I would have had to place 15 icons (one for each program) in the taskbar. This is much cleaner, and I find access much faster than going through the StartMenu.
The program does have some rough edges. Creating a new launcher, requires copying the launcher program directory for each launcher. Want 3 launchers, you will need 3 separate copies of the launcher. Not elegant, but works. I had problems with access violations until I placed the program copies into my own user space (not in C:\Windows...).
