I haven't been able to find how I can change my password from the one assigned when I registered to one I can remember. How is it done?

Change Password

Click on your name to go to your profile and then click the edit tab. To save you time here's your edit page link. Don't worry only you can access it. It's the same for everyone, only the profile number changes. Anyways, scroll down and there is a box at the bottom of the page to change your password.

Also, you can reset your password if you ever lost it and couldn't log in by going here:
