   I tried refreshing the page, and even exiting and entering firefox(my browser), but it still says that i am "online".
   YET I cannot post, as I am NOT logged in.
   odd?

   It's a thing in the coding. I've seen this too here and other bbpress forums. After logging out it will still display you as logged in for a few seconds to a few minutes later. But it will evetually switch to offline. Now if it's saying your online and you haven't logged in a while then maybe it's a glitch or...someone knows your password :O

   Try clearing your cookies (or at least the cookie for this site). That might allow you to truly log in.

   I guess you are on a different computer now? Or how could you post?
   Remember that you changed how your name is displayed, but not the name of your account. That means, when you log in you must do this as "Merri" and not in the name of that poisonous tree ;)

   When this happens to me (every time I log out), it's only the status under my username with my posts that's incorrect; the login information at the top of the page is displayed correctly, and I can log back in if I want to.

   Edit: I just did it, logged out and back in, and here I am again...

   Other people won't see you as still being online once you logged out though.
   Ailanthus altissima...we have some of them over here too.

    clear your cache and your temp. internet files. I forget which one holds the web pages.

    The old files are interfering with your new screen. I get this occasionally myself using FF, but for me it will make the GOATD forum and all the posts line up on the left hand side of the screen. It is very odd looking!

    I have had login problems happen before, nothing can be done to fix it till you clear those, usually the cleaners clean both anyways.

    WOW thanks for all the help!
    I guess it must just be a glitch (or COULD indeed be from the cache which I thought I had cleared just a day or two ago)
    And YES I did see my regular, "merri" as being logged out at the top of the page.
    Oh no, Graylox, hope that you got some cat naps in today, or at least some Panda bear naps..
