My is running it just fine to, but I am running the 64bit version of 7 to.
I rarely have to run the compatibility mode feature and that is usually only if I install something that doesn't only accept XP.
I wonder if there is a difference between the 32 bit and 64bit, hotdoge3 besides the obvious.
------2 programs- an old version TMPG Xpress- in xp mode
2nd & 3rd program/game- battstations pacific- in vista mode- runs fine without it, just put it their cause thats what D2D said to do. Oh I did the same with, Section8.

edit: almost forgot-
Did you install from a clean install or did you do a upgrade?I got one of those upgrade discs and when W7 first came out and tried to upgrade, but noticed it had sorts of issues.
It just didnt behave the way Windows was suppose to. So I uninstalled it and did a clean install, which is a pain with a upgrade disc.Just a thought.

Hi hotdoge3,
It works well for me on Win 7 32-bit OS without running "XP compatibility" or "Run As Administrator" modes. Maybe it has something to do with how you may have activated the program? In most cases, it's always beneficial to activate GOTD programs before you open/access/launch them. This may be helpful to you for future GOTD download/installs.

The run activate as administrator is only related to where the developer puts the activate codes. Some parts of the registry can only be written to as the administrator user. That is it. No magic other than that reason. Usually a standard user is just fine for activate.exe
Activate before setup - reason - some programs when you "exit them" stay running in the system tray - and users don't shut down the program from the system tray (which means running activate may fail while the program is still running). So to keep things simple - I tell users to get the activate out of the way before running setup (so there is no problem with the program running during activate).
Activate after setup - reason - some "clueless" developers decide that running their setup.exe should erase all settings and user registration details. Not a real smart move - which they generally find out at upgrade time when users start getting in touch to retrieve their serial numbers etc (that despite being told to write down etc, they didn't). Running Activate after setup is usually due to the fact that the setup.exe has a scorched earth policy - and nuked all activation details. Thankfully this option doesn't happen often.
Hopefully the above will simplify the "voodoo" guesswork on what is needed and why, and talks of compatibility modes or standing on your left foot with your fingers in your ears.
Oh I am running WinUtilities 9.3 - working 300% no errors on Windows 7 Pro 32bit.
(I don't like it, my computer is too fast now - everything is 3 times normal speed exactly like they promised.... and to make matters worse I'm even better looking now too).
