Hi, I have a program called "Recovery Commander" installed on my computer, but when I try to find it, it does not show up anywhere at all....
Can someone help me figure out where it may be located, or what the full, complete accurate name is of this program, so I can find it on my PC. Thanks much.

Danke, Graylox. Sehr gut. Ich habe meine hausaufgaben gemacht.
Now, before you become very happy and excited with my German - I only took it for one semester in college, so I am not an expert at all, but I do love languages-for sure.
Anyway, thru Google search, I found 2 recovery commander program developers (V-COM & Avanquest)-but again, I cannot find them on my PC-so the mystery continues...
....and the reason I was looking for recovery commander was to restore my computer to a point before one of my other programs (besides recovery commander) was messed up - but I think I can re-install this other program using Vista's Recovery Manager tool - so hopefully this will work - but if not, I can always call HP & ask them for help.
By the way, Vista's "System Restore" tool did not help either.

search the HP website for your pc/notebook with the model #, & it should have information about the pre-installed software, as well as other help...
on my HP desktop, there is also some built-in help:
Start>All Programs>PC Help & Tools
for me this includes Software Repair Wizard, PC-Doctor, & a few others...my pc is older than yours, but it can't hurt to check...
