   I found out that the new Mortimer Beckett game is already available to download so I did but it won't open on my computer. I was really looking forward to that one. Maybe I will be able to play the streamlined version when it comes out.

   The system requirements are quite minimal (XP or later, 256MB ram, DX7, 800MB P4). What is the problem? That is slightly more than the last one, but if you don't have it I doubt any version will work.

   I don't know but a lot of people reported the same problem. What's weird is that the download was almost 350MB and took over 2 hours but when I went into the Add/Remove menu to uninstall it, it said it was only about 3MB. I wonder if some of the downloaded files disappeared somehow.

   Well obviously something is significantly wrong. I don't know where you got this. It seems that there are some bad copies out there and Gamehouse may have had a copy up for a while, but it doesn't seem to be there now. My understanding is that it isn't supposed to be released for another day and a half. Hopefully you can download a good copy then.
