No problem getting on site or navigating to forum, but when I search and find a topic I want to check out, all I get out of it is the unhelpful error message 404 not found. Is anybody else having this problem or is it somehow just me? Is there anything I can do?

Hi, I'm not getting this particular message - but yesterday, I was having problems viewing the comments under the "suggestions" area of the download page.
Every now and then, the GOTD site appears to have technical glitches - why? I don't know, but I sure wish things would become (and remain) more stable.
Anyway, that's my two-cents worth....and I'm sure this is not very helpful.
Oh well, happy/healthy new year everyone.Best,

Thanks, I guess, although I was hoping for something more useful. Oh well, that's life.

No problems here, at least not a 404 problem on the GOTD site.
Try to clean your cache and reboot. Good luck.Posted 14 years ago # -
hi, internetexplorer...
no problems here, either...with IE, Flock, or Opera...
a few months back community member Bigun had repeated errors with forum searches...Admin Bubby had the same suggestions as Modlox...mentioned in thread here: http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/forums/topic/5121
i do not know if Biguns problems were resolved...we all seem to have them from time to time...because i remembered our comments from that thread, i was able to access it by clicking on my user name & finding the thread (luck!)...
my only other suggestion would be trying to access thru a Google Advanced Search?:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en&num=100&as_sitesearch=giveawayoftheday.com/forums
(thank you, Rune, for that long-ago suggestion)good luck...
