   Hi all, hope yesterday was a happy and relaxing day for everyone.

   Many people are receiving gateway error messages today when trying to post reviews or to activate the Audio Transcoder download.

   My review is in the "awaiting moderation" queue, as are other reviews I'm sure.

   So, you're not alone - I'm sure this glitch will be fixed soon. Keep the faith.

   Attempted to post the following as a comment on the page for today's offer of the Audio Transcoder, but it would not work. So I just submitted this on their "contact" page:

   (MODERATOR: YOU NEED NOT POST THIS -- IT IS FOR THE WEBMASTER -- HOPEFULLY THE OFFER WILL BE REPEATED TOMORROW.)

   Something is wrong with the GAOTD website:

   Only 6 comments tonight, and I know I saw more than that earlier today;

   Nothing happens when I click on "View all suggestions (19)";

   And when attempting to download the file, I got the following instead:

   "502 Bad Gateway

   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

   nginx/0.5.33"

   Clearly something is wrong with the site tonight. I hope the offer is repeated tomorrow!

   (This is the morning after yesterday's offer, and I'm using a different computer.)

   Today I tried out the offer for "Desktop Icon Toy 4.0" and everything seemed to work on that page: downloading the file, viewing comments, suggestions, etc.

   However, I tried once again to look at yesterday's page for Audio Transcoder:

   http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/audio-transcoder/

   After pressing the "View all comments", 30 comments appeared (more than the 6 on view last night), but when attempting to submit an additional comment today I once again got the same result as last night:

   "502 Bad Gateway

   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

   nginx/0.5.33"

   Something is messed up about the Audio Transcoder offer page from yesterday, and I suspect a lot of people missed out on trying it.

   Thanks much for the update, Harpo, same thing happened to me today. My 1st computer was fine for today's download, but my 2nd computer gave me the "502" bad gateway error. I solved the problem by switching to the "French Site" & all was fine - go figure :)

   For about a week now I have been getting the same "502 Bad Gateway" error when attempting to download the day's free program. I have gone to the author's website and downloaded their trial version, returned to GAOTD, tried again and often been able to get the free version. I'm suspecting that the problem is at your end of things.
   tswill2, running XP Pro SP3 on a HP desktop w/ AMD64 working at 32.
