   In the email, there is a link, "TBC", with an offer for partitioning software with the description starting like this: Special offer for our GAOTD users — Partitioning for Windows 7 and 64-bit version support!

   When I click the link, I get an error, "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria."

   Was this a fluke or was the link supposed to work?

   Good morning all,

   There was a link earlier this morning for the Paragon Partition Personal version 10 edition (yes, compatible with Windows 7 & 64-bit OSes) - but, alas, the link was immediately removed - why? I dont' know - but I sure wish GOTD would put it back, as I was getting ready to download/install it when this magical illusion happened, but I'm sure GOTD had a good reason for doing so - it's just that we don't know what it is. Maybe they put a message about this in their blog forum.

   Anyway, a very happy, healthy holiday season to everyone, and may peace reign supreme in 2010. God bless us all.

   Just to clarify, my initial post on this issue wasn't one of "gimme the darn software" gripes. I'm just bringing it to everyones attention so that if it was sent in error, it can be made known that it was an error and isn't being made available to everyone. If it was meant to be sent then the link isn't working and needs to be fixed.

   Either way, best thing to do was to post about it to bring the problem to light. If it was meant to be available then I'd like to get it. If the offer was by mistake, then I fully understand and hold no ill feelings towards those providing us with legitimate free copies of commercial software.

   I'm sure the others who have posted feel the same way, where it'd be nice to get it but if the email was a mistake, then we understand and appreciate your efforts on fixing the problem so that it won't cause confusion again.

   Folks, I'm just speculating here, but seems there are some problems with today's previously offered software, as evidenced on the GOTD comments section, and may well be the reason for the giveaway switch. Such has happened before, and most likely will again, for various reasons.
