Wizzard mentioned back in week 32 that a new version of ?Quadrax was in the making. Well here it is:
Quadrax VI: Treasures of Atlantis: (26.2Mb)
The game unpacks to an executable that when installed create a desktop shortcut plus a start menu shortcut and uninstaller plus a link to the developers site, which is useful because there are detailed information about all aspects of the game including rules, descriptions of the different types of stones, traps and other objects that can be found within the 100 pre made levels. It’s well worth checking out before you start playing the game. You can find the information HERE. The game starts in Czech, but there is an English button in the menu to change it to English. This is a quality made game. The information that can be found on the site is actually accessible from the help button in the main menu.

The Game:
The object is to collect all crystals and then to go to the exit by toggling switches, moving stones, opening doors, moving lifts and so on.
Quadrax 5 was great, but this version is even better, but much harder than all previous versions!
You can choose between Czech and English. Improved graphics and very challenging new levels! Just don't forget: This is a very HARD puzzle game! :)
The background story is 40 pages long - basically a long as a real short story
This game has a new and much easier password system. Just one password for each player (profile). Editor: When completed (unlocked) all 100 levels you will be able to use the level editor.

Some features:
- There are levels with one, two or three men
- Shift push mode: When Shift push mode is activated then the men can only push stones while pressing Shift
- Stone movers, transport belts, etc
- Green switches. You only can use them twice (blue switches only once)
- New: Yellow switches. These are time levers.
- Big blocks. These are movable blocks of any format controlled by a switch. Important: When there is a stone or man on the big block, it won't move untill it becomes free.
- Crushable stones: When these stones fall they will crush and disappear. The same will happen when another stone fall on them.
- Extending ladders. These are in fact a kind of big blocks.
- A possible to save and load (F5/F9)

Controls:
• Cursor arrows - movement of the figure.
• TAB, NUMPAD + - switch between figures. (Depending on the type of switch mode. A detailed description below!).
• W, NUMPAD * - switch "switch mode".
• Q, NUMPAD - - Switching between the three types of "triple duo" switch mode.
• 1,2,3, NUMPAD 1,2,3 - direct the choice of characters.
• Space, Enter, NUMPAD Enter, NUMPAD 0 - to use levers to switch with, movement through the secret passage.
• SHIFT + S - on/off SHIFT PUSH mode (A detailed description below).
• F1 - to display the name of a level and a help if found.
• F4 - open/close the sound panel
• 1,7 (numeric keyboard) - the music volume
• 2,8 (numeric keyboard) - the sound effect volume
• 4, 5 - the music volume
• 6, 7 - the sound effect volume
• F5 - quicksave
• F9 - quickload
• Escape (Esc) - open/close the game control panel - restart or leave the game
• Diary control:
• Cursor arrows left/right, left mouse button - leaf through the diary
• Ctrl+Cursor arrows left/right,Ctrl+ left mouse button - leaf through chapters
• Home/End - jump to home/end of current chapter
• Ctrl+Home/End - jump to home/end of diary
• Escape (Esc), right mouse button - exit from diary
