You'll have noticed I've suddenly posted quite a few games today (more to come over the next few days) after quite a few months of relative inactivity. Basically things are hotting up on the house scene. The builders only have just over 2 weeks to go before the build is finished. We have to clear our home of all our possessions as well as dump the accumulated junk of 20 years before the 16th September as that's the day we are moving out. We decided to rent the place out instead of selling the property and put it on the local housing agencies books 2 daysa go and have already got a tenant who said she intends staying put for several years minimum (perfect for what we wanted). We have to shift all of the stuff stored in the garage and loft as well as the numerous cupboards etc. I've been a bit of a hoarder all my life, but am having a full spring clean. already feeling good after getting rid of stuff I've held onto for years. Anyway, the reason i'm posting all of these games now is that it's coming up to the fifth anniversary of this projects inception. We have seen several community members help over the intervening years, with the latest addition to the team of our much loved man of many names Mr GoGo whose most recent name change has been to Mr Magoo. I appreciate all the help over these years to all of you guys past and present. We've accumulated a vast library of free games readily found via the Game discussion forums. I'm still attempting to bring the Synopsis up to date so as to make it easier to find games, but it's become a mammoth task.
I've started the fifth anniversary celebrations early simply because from Monday onward we are going to be even busier that I have been over the last few months because not only do we have to get this house ready for the new tenant, most of our packing has yet to be done plus we still have to sort several items for the new house such as the new kitchen, a new bathroom suit and a new bedroom suite as well as shelving for my study as well as flooring for virtually every room in the house. 3 of the bedrooms are going to be carpeted, the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms are going to be tiled in either limestone or marble and the rest of the house including a large hall, two family rooms and my Study/fourth bedroom will have oak flooring. none of which we've ordered (or chosen) yet. Things are going to get very manic, so tohugh it would be a good idea to post my anniversary games early. Hopefully Magoo will be able to include a nice selection more on time. The week numbers have gone a little awry over the last year or so because we haven't posted every week. In real terms we should be on week 257/8, but because of the weeks without posting free games were are only on week 244.
I do hope you find at least a couple of games from the selection I've posted and hopefully will be posting more over the weekend (assuming i have time)
There seems to be a lot of survival horror games around at the moment. Recently purchased one via Steam called Ravaged - Zombie Apocalypse and backed one via Kickstarter called 7 Days to Die, plus posted another one recently here. As well as purchased a couple more via Steam over the last few months.
This free one 'looks' much better than the one I purchased via Kickstarter (I paid $35 for that one), though 7 Days to die has fully destructible environments, crafting and a day and night cycle, plus multiplayer.
Inferos: A Thief's Tale: (381.15MB)
Inferos: A Thief’s Tale is a unique, atmospheric and immersive survival horror game. The atmosphere is dark and intense with a soundtrack just as foreboding. Creep around the arcane subterranean tomb in search of ghosts, exorcise them and collect their valuable souls. Be wary of the harsh environment, set out to constantly challenge the player.
