    There's a note under Sunset Studio - Behind the Scenes:

    "To run this game you’ll need to have DirectX9.0c installed. The software is available from the Microsoft Download Center."

    Everyone probably has this already but I wanted to point it out just in case.

    I'm getting an error message that I'm missing a dll file and the game won't play. I wonder if it is in DirectX9 but not 10.

    I have had a problem with this: firstly the install didn't work as it was missing a dll file. I did the download of DirectX9 (although I thought I'd already got it) and that seemed to fix the install. However, the game wouldn't run: it gave me the first couple of screens and then stuck. Looking at the description, it only mentions Vista and Windows 7 and I'm using XP, so I guess that may be my problem. I've deleted it now.

    Terri218, I have DirectX11 and Sunset Studio - Behind the Scenes plays for me. But it does not have any ads. Maybe that's the dll file? If so, I don't know why it plays for me. I've played and quit 3 times without ads or error message.
    I've gotten several of their free daily games and they all have ads, except Sunset Studio - Behind the Scenes.
    Did anyone else get the game without ads and without an error message?

    I've done a little research and I see that the latest DirectX package is dated 6/8/2010. I bought my computer in April so I probably don't have that version. Is there any reason not to download it?

    No, there is no problem with downloading any new flavour of DirectX and adding it to your system.
    Just take care to get it directly from MS.
