I once had a computer at work that had an icon on the bottom of the screen which would let you go directly to your desktop without having to minimize all your open screens. How can I install that on my computer?
Thanks as always.

You can right click on your taskbar and click "Show Desktop" to do this. You can also right click on your taskbar, go to properties, and make sure your "Show Quick Launch" is enabled. Once that is you can just click the little window in your quicklaunch tray to show the desktop.
There are several ways to come to your desktop.
I don't remember if in XP is an icon, just try all icons on your toolbar, look into your quick-start-bar.
Or right-click on a free place on the toolbar / taskbar there you'll find the desktop or can make a new toolbar.
Click Win+D and you'll get your desktop.

Chip, you posted faster, sorry didn't see it.
And your explanation is more accurate; I never know the correct terms as my system is speaking German.
OMG Chip that was so easy! Thanks to you both.
