At the moment the greatest contributor is $50. I love Razer products (I have three Razer mice (Lachesis, Mamba and a Copperback) and my son has a diamondback, though I do think they are a little overpriced. The responce is very fast , they have silicon feet that allow the mice to glide and the mouse pads are specially designed to enhance the properties of the mice. You'll also find a generous number of buttons on most models and the better ones. Those that cost more than around £50/$75 also have buttons that enable you to change the mouse sensitivity on the fly (great if your swapping from say a shotgun to a sniper rifle in a FPS game).
