Hello Ueda!
Please read the notes of the GOTD Team in the comments, the installer is updated again.
The Giveaway archive for this title have been updated (and the previous version was removed from the server – that’s why you keep getting an error). Please, re-download the title once again (now it is only 1.90 MB).
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry - it seems the glitch is still there.
I downloaded the latest version and got the same error note.
We have to be patient, maybe there will be a rerun tomorrow or another day.
Now I'm also getting a "Bad Gateway" on the comments page.
This is what I posted:
Hi Team.
I get the error note too after having tried the latest and newest build for several times.
The Ashampoo downloader starts, very slowly, runs a few minutes and then crashes. The only note is:
“The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.”

Hi graylox
The download has been problematic for many it seems ....having tried many times to download the program , I got the "hang ups " the "freezes" at various stages ...and then the " corrupt files " flag !
Spotted the GAOTD teams' response to the "download problem " and got the Ashampoo downloader box which started well enough ....and then "stalled " and failed yet again!
Patience was eventually rewarded though :)....My last attempt started to download on a Fibre optic connection here in the U/K at a rate of just over 3Mb/sec and fluctuated at various points but the whole download eventually completed in around 6-7 minutes total!
Well worth the wait though .....Hope all those who have been struggling with the download eventually succeed!
I'm aware that users with slow connections are having problems. But I have a fast line and no difficulties to download even a 16 GB file without any downloadhelper just with firefox.
So I really think there is a glitch on the other site, on the server. As you got the download at last, the problems can't be due to a faulty build, it seems that even Ashampoo reached their limits.

The problem still exists. I have just tried 2x to download, and get the same Error message as the others. Could someone tell Ashampoo their setup files are corrupted?
Thanks
ddennis
@ ddennis: They are working on it.

Hi again!Thank you for the screenshots and information provided at giveaway@giveawaoftheday.com. We are now trying to check the download on our side once again (first test was before we uploaded it for you) – it’s still in progress. Also questioned the Ashampoo team, but our best guess is that the load is really hard to cope with. :(
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear users,
we are deeply sorry for the unexpected problems that occurred during today's giveaway of Ashampoo Home Designer Pro 1.0.1. Still there is also some good news. If you could not complete the download today, on May 29, make sure to visit GOTD main page tomorrow, on Thursday, May 30. The offer will remain available as the second giveaway of the day on GOTD's main page (aka GOTD in English).
Please note that Ashampoo team has uploaded all necessary materials to the servers (we have managed to complete the download on several of our test PCs), but even their servers can hardly cope the load properly with a 1GB file. So please keep trying.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I had to try several times, & as many have noted the Ashampoo downloader may quit & you then need to try again, assuming you want to persevere. On top of Ashampoo probably getting hammered with people wanting to download the GOTD, parts of the web are operating more slowly yesterday & today, so it can be iffy &/or take awhile, but personally I've always found something else to do rather than watching any download progress bar so that sort of thing's never bothered me. :) I actually forgot to check the downloader more than once since I really was paying no attention to it. :)
The file you download is temp.exe, & it's stored, & in my XP Mode VM kept, in the temp folder [in 1 of those an oddly named sub-folders installation apps use]. The unofficial version of Universal Extractor works with it [the in-app link is http://forum.oszone.net/thread-81059.html but it looks like you'll need Google Translate to read it]. Why bother? Here's my log results:
The installation performed the following activity:
11040 files added
5 files deleted
31 files updated
1860 registry entries added
66 registry entries deleted
96 registry entries updated
Most all of those 1860 new registry entries are either meaningless or have to do with installing a couple of older Microsoft C/C++ runtimes [yes, they have to be updated so visit Microsoft Update], DirectX for Managed Code Update (Summer 2004), WindowsInstaller-KB893803-x86.exe, plus not counted in that tally is the included [also older] .NET 2 if you don't already have it. Mileage will vary, but myself I'd give it a shot trying to run the files without install to save some of that bloat -- worst case you still run the installation -- but then I've got the DX stuff for example installed already.
Have your Ashampoo account info handy of course -- as always if/when you visit their site for a key, enter an email address associated with an account & they'll ask you to sign in before they show you the serial number. If you already have your password handy it takes seconds to copy/paste it so no biggie.
All in all not a bad app - Thanks GOTD.
i downloaded giveaway.extract and double click it on setup. it start, click next, then appear screen of downloading 1 gb data, error screen
“Ashampoo Home Pro Could not be download. If you have not aborted the download manually, please check you internet connection.” press ok
then check internet connection its ok.downloading some other file its downloaded fine. now again run ashampoo home pro setup , again error screen appear.
Now How I download Giveaway of Ashampoo Home Pro?
Please solve.

There are loads & loads of comments on the GOTD download page where people are having similar problems -- the download becomes interrupted for whatever reason & the download app pops up that error screen. In fairness the Ashampoo download app is not like Microsoft or Adobe downloaders & does not install to your PC, but apparently the price for not installing is a downloader that won't simply resume an interrupted download.
Perhaps Ashampoo will post a direct link [url] so people can use their own download apps, e.g. Orbit or whatever that will resume the download? Or maybe today they have or will have set up more download servers or increase the bandwidth available?
In the mean time emptying or clearing Internet Explorer's cache *may* help - the one time I cleared the cache was the time the downloader completed it's task... I did not want to test out that theory because I didn't want to add to the traffic hammering Ashampoo's servers, which would contribute to everyone else having problems.
I had several things going on yesterday morning so I ran the Ashampoo downloader in my XP Mode VM, & as in my earlier post forgot about it... Every so often I'd remember, bring up the VM's window, & if the downloader failed I'd close it & start again, minimizing the VM afterward. I have no idea, don't recall how many times I had to restart the download app -- maybe it was 3, maybe 8 or a dozen -- but the total time I spent closing & restarting it I don't think exceeded 3-4 minutes. It would have worked the same if I didn't use the VM -- I just ran the GOTD there out of habit because that's where I'd run the install once downloaded.
